do people still sit on rocks in the north endzone to watch the games?

Sometimes. Depends on the attendance. But for big games you will see the Rock M covered with People.

I've never sat there, but when the stadium sells out, there's really nowhere else to go. Obviously people sit on the grass first and then latecomers must migrate to the rocks.
There are plans to possibly expand the stadium in part to alleviate this problem but nothing has been decided yet.

I think making fun of Mizzou's stadium is going to take all of everybody's energy in this thread.

First time poster, very excited to be joining you all.
There are roughly 63k actual seats in the stadium. Anything above that (official capacity at 71,004) is SRO tickets for the hill. There have been plans in the works now for a while to take seating capacity to over 80k by extending the seating up the south endzone to meet up with the east and west sides, as well as adding more suites to the east. I'm expecting to see renderings released in the spring so the athletic dept can begin their $160M capital campaign.
And no, the rocks are not comfortable. I have only sat there once (they oversell student tickets so if you're late you end up having to sit there). That hill is a lot steeper than it looks.

I can't believe we're letting these fricks join our storied and powerful conference.
This is what it must have felt like to let France piggyback as one of the Allies in WWII.
