Not interested. I can basically sum it up if you'd like:
-Alabama was poor as frick and one of the shittiest states forever, so all they looked forward to was football
-Bear Bryant rose ua to power
-Bo jackson and AU in the 80s
-not playing on campus until "recently"
-back to back titles/heismans last 2 years
-updyke
-biggest cfb rivalry
I think that about covers it.

I'm skeptical. The worst thing about the Iron Bowl has been when you fan the flames and all the rednecks get riled up, and this could very potentially do that. Coincidentally, this is why I don't enjoy Finebaum.

bama- some old arse game their defense was stonewalling someone and a journalist said their D looked like a crimson tide.
auburn- tigers? they drew a name from a hat. War eagle is something from one of the early wars, there was some batallion or something that used it as their battle cry and it ended up coming to the plains.
Am i right? I could be wrong.
