SEC West numbers 1, 2, and 3 in BCS rankings. Possible?

When Arkansas goes into Baton Rouge on November 25, is there a possibility that LSU, Bama, and Arkansas could make up the top 3 of the BCS?
Needed scenarios:
1. Oklahoma State loses to either Kansas State or Texas Tech. Kansas State may have been over hyped, but they could still pull off the upset. Texas Tech walked into Oklahoma and beat them, so it is always a possibility.
2. Stanford loses to Oregon. Stanford showed that they are beatable by narrowly escaping with a win against USC last weekend.
3. (may be necessary) Oklahoma loses to either Baylor or Texas A&M. Both teams have high-powered offenses and could give OU its second upset.
By beating a top-10 ranked South Carolina team, SOS should push Arkansas over Boise State, a one-loss Oklahoma State, and a one-loss Stanford.
Not real sure the winner of the LSU/Bama game would have any impact on this.
Yeah, a lot of things have to happen, but does it seem possible? If not, certainly have all 3 in the top 5 is. Has a division of a single conference ever had 3 in the top 5?

they would slip boise in there somewhere to mess it up even though 2 of those would kill boise and hopefully one of them beat boise.

I was under the impression that Boise would continue to slide down the rankings due to lower and lower SOS every week.

No - they aren't jumping an undefeated Boise

There are way to many if for that to happen.

oregon and boise would probably still be ranked ahead of arkansas if stanford and ok state lost
OU would be as well if they don't drop another game

It's not asinine...it's a hypothetical question, no different than 75% of the other threads on here right now (oh, and another about whether or not Lil Wayne will be at the LSU/Bama game).
There is no emotional undertone to it...simply a question. If it makes you feel better, we can call Arkansas "Team A" and put "Team A" in the exact same scenario.

maybe asinine was a bit strong, my apologies my swine friend. i eve regretted using that but asinine is a big word that boosts my ego.
lemme rephrase it to maybe but it doesn't matter until the flagship runs rain on the cockabooses

I can't believe you guys didn't jump to number 1 or 2 after the arse whipping you laid on Vanderbilt this past weekend...

Please show me a season where everything happened as it is supposed to. Anything is possible in college football. Ask Auburn from last year, or ask LSU from 07 if they thought they would still be national champions despite losing 2 games.

Oregon would be a one-loss team with a win over one ranked opponent in this scenario.
Boise would be undefeated with no wins over current ranked teams.
OU would be a one-loss team with a win over one ranked opponent.
Arkansas would be a one-loss team with a win over 2 currently ranked opponents.
It is very possible we would jump them even if they didn't lose another game.

Couldn't south carolina also be top 3 heading into the SEC championship game if they beat ARK? In fact, they probably have a better shot as they would beat a very good clemson team as well.

If (and this is a big if) Alabama finishes undefeated and Arkansas finishes with 1 loss I bet none of them will lobby for a rematch with Alabama. I wish Vandy or Ole Miss would have beaten them so we wouldn't have to put up this crap.

Yeah, perhaps. This isn't a prediction thread...just speaking in hypotheticals. If the above happened and S. Carolina won out then they could very well be top 5, if not third.
I just think it would be cool to have top 3 teams in the BCS coming from not only the same conference, but also the same division.

I love how defensive Bammers get whenever there is any mention of another team.
As I told the poster above, replace "Arkansas" with simply "Team A" in this scenario if it will help you to sleep at night.

No offense but I grew up in Arkansas and couldn't stand the "Hogs" then or now. The only time I ever routed for them was when they beat Oklahoma (badly) in the Orange Bowl under Holtz.

I'm very happy for you.
