It was his first ever start?
Not to mention we were rotating QBs every third series. Some QBs respond to those first starts better than others. If I'm not mistaken, Lee's first year as a starter is legendary for interceptions and pick sixes.

i love to see the rantards argue that jarret lee is a good qb. he wasnt good enough to beat out jordan jefferson in the spring, but he's the greatest now.
