I usually don't join in on the Houston Nutt bashing. I do smile, as the whole state of Arkansas does, when he has misforunte.
However, wishing Jake Bequette to be a little bit hurt and being pompous about signing him gets old.
I feel bad for the fans now.....
Ole Miss' rivals.com website is even admitting Arkansas fans were right and they think Bobby P. will run up the score.

I haven't generally had "Nutt hate" at quite the level of some of our fans. I think he served a purpose and may have over stayed his welcome, but he was better than the coaches we had for the few year immediately before him. I think we have upgraded substantially and I was honestly glad to see him stay in conference even though it meant we had to lose to him while he still had coach O's players.
However, I don't think I have ever seen a coach openly want another team's players to be hurt. I'm sure many internally want it while openly saying things like "I wish we could go against and beat their best," but never one openly say he wished guys were hurt. Maybe the rumors that he has been fired and is just waiting until Jan 1 to collect and leave town are true and he just doesn't give a shite any more.

I think a lot of Arkansas fans (and probably Ole Miss fans as well) chalk it up to Hootie just being Hootie. Who knows?
