Different style of defense. Bama more stout up front. LSU gives up more yardage but holds in the red zone.

If you can even sniff the red zone. Just ask bama.

I don't think BAMA's better up front, but the middle of their defense is light years better. BAMA's linebackers are elite, while LSU's are average to below average.

The LSU DL does its job of keeping the OL off our LBs, but the LBs still whiff regularly. If we had BAMA's LB's on our defense that would truly be scary.

If you look back at the BAMA game, the few big gains BAMA had were screen type plays (except for two or three blown coverages). We're susceptible to screens because of poor LB play. The team that played our defense perfectly was West Virginia, but not many teams can duplicate their effort because they don't have a QB and WRs talented enough to exploit that match up consistently.

Arkansas will score on us, but we should do better against them than West Virginia and Oregon because Arkansas's QB isn't as mobile.

This was pretty spot on per the game.
