Sitting on the highway southwest of town for 90 minutes surely was.

Probably sitting on Highway 6 after you got off 55? May have been better to go into Memphis and cut down 78 to Holly Springs and come into town on Hwy 7. The problem Oxford has is that there just are not a lot of roads leading into town. So when you add 10k+ extra cars near the same time, traffic will build up.

Most Bammers will be coming from the other direction though, so it shouldn't be as bad.

Yep. Hit a convenience store right about the city limits for an 18 pack and pit-stop, thinking we'd get to the stadium in about 15 or 20 minutes and pop a few cold ones. Then we got back out onto the highway and sat. And sat.

My advice is to get off at coliseum dr on 6 and then make a right towards campus and park around the law school.
