Went and watched Keon Hatcher tonight, absolute stud. Might be the best player in the state of Oklahoma, not sure why he went under the radar.

He had 3 Touchdowns catches in the 1st half, and they didn't throw to him the rest of the game, and they ended up losing.

No surprise there. Oregon is the one place outside of the SEC that you don't want a recruit to visit. That place is the Taj Mahal of facilities.

Looks like you guys are getting a visit from a South Carolina commit. PalmettoSports.com

quote:

Long time USC commitment TE Kelvin Rainey of Yulee, FL will take an official visit to Arkansas. Rainey said the visit likely will take place the weekend the Gamecocks play in Fayetteville.

"Arkansas is the only other school that's still working me," Rainey said.

"My commitment (to USC) is 100%. They are still my favorite."

Rainey said his USC recruiter Steve Spurrier Jr. plans to be at his school Monday.

As for his season, Rainey said he's got more yards rushing than receiving. He's been playing tailback and some quarterback in the Wildcat, along with his regular position of tight end. He's also playing safety on defense.

Would love to get him. Not really a fan of him visiting for the USCe game with him being committed to them and all but maybe we can beat the hell out of them and make him realize his mistake.

i think AJ Turner is the best football player in the state. If he were 2 inches taller he would be a top 100 player. kid is just crazy good. Don't see him redshirting

Nathan Holmes was bumped to the first 3-star RB.

Do any of you keep up with HS ball in Arkansas?

We may need to send Horton down to Strong to check out the Dixon kid. I think he rushed for nearly 400 yards last week.

Last year he rushed for 2,300 yards and 35 TDs. He is about 6'1" 210lbs runs a 4.4 on that high south Arkansas grass.

Send an email to Coach Horton. I'm sure they already know about him but it never hurts.
