Miss St. did remind me a bit of Auburn in that game. Relf looked like Newton, except on the last play...

Yeah..they have a very good run game. I don't think Relf is as fast as Cam but he is close to the same size. Relf looked awful throwing the ball. I think LSU wins big if they stop the run.

Ballard looked like he was on a mission in that 4th quarter. 10+ yards a carry it seemed. Relf did look a little awkward throwing, like he was still back in highschool or something. Im not worried about arm, especially with the secondary that LSU has.
Relf definitley has the ability to run, but it seems like it takes him a while to get through the line to that second level. Newton always looked like he got past the line of scrimmage so quickly, which made him so dangerous. I believe LSU has a fast enough DL to keep Relf in check, not necessarily stop him. Ballard is the one Im more worried about though.

All in all, my prediction is that MSU moves the ball well enough to gain significant yards, but gets stopped deep into LSU territory several times to where they settle for field goals.

LSU - 34
MSU - 19
