Surprised that Alabama is apparently harder to get in than Auburn. I remember when I was looking at colleges that it was easier to get into Alabama. Of course, this was back in 2008..

Lower acceptance rate does not necessarily mean "harder to get into," at least not in the colloquial sense that it is used.
