And that has happened how many times now?
It happened most recently and that is what we have to go by.
There are too many good offenses in this conference and in the nation to just bank on a good defense bailing you out.

Honestly, the Bama offense looks pretty pedestrian. Oline is shaky right now. QB has made mistakes. Defense has bailed them out with a few turnovers. Punter fricking sucks.
Just wait till the game. That's all I'm gonna say. The play calls have been fairly conservative for a reason. Has Petrino figured out how to keep our defense out of his backfield yet?

This is why yall will never win the SEC

I agree, you have to have balance. Also our ST's aren't dog shite like they always were under Nutt.
We've got a very good kicker/punter/return game

That is all you got?
Auburn was TERRIBLE last year on defense and won the SEC and National Title.
Alabama was better than Bama on defense, yet finished 4th in the division.
See how stupid you sound?

Auburn had the 4th best run defense in the country.
See how ignorant you sound

Arkansas may surprise me. It's about time for them to come around and upset us. They have a really good team, but I'm not sold. It it was Fayetville I would be more worried. Well, not worried, but you know what I mean. I don't get upset over football. Anyway, you have a talented but young QB going up against a veteran defense who hasn't even shown all of their cards yet, and he will be in a hostile environment.

Let me break it down for you them.
Arkansas (that's you) will never play defense (that's when you don't have the ball) well enough to win a SEC (that's the conference you're in, but get owned in every year) championship.

Because everyone just passed against them.

We are due...hopefully. I think if Wilson/Oline can overcome the early jitters that we've got a legit chance. I don't want to be playing catch up all game though allowing your D to T off on Wilson. We'll lose if that's the case.
If we somehow get up early though, I think we close out this year personally b/c of yall have a young QB as well.

4th best run defense in the country and superman at QB. The better question is if Petrino and his brilliant passing attack couldn't beat Auburn and their terrible pass defense last year, how do you think you're going to beat a stout Alabama defense?

I will until it changes.
How did the best defenses in the SEC turn out a year ago?

LSU and Alabama have combined to win 3 National Titles and the SEC West 5 times in the last 8 years with that strategy.

Cam Newton is a once a decade type player. That's the exception, not the rule.

Ok. If we wouldn't have had Nutt for 10 fricking years we would've won a an SEC title or 2
Our D is legit this year. You'll see it in two weeks.

And Wilson is no Cam Newton.
