I never said we lead, broseph.

I've developed a pretty good friendship with one of the UF insiders and he gives me pretty good updates. I won't say anything further, but needless to say, UF is the leader for Diggs, no question about it.

Zeke Pike only completed 58% of his passes at 6'5"? Good thing accuracy is a trait which you can improve...oh wait.. No wonder TD talke about how poorly he did at Elite 11.
The biggest shocker of this list is Ragland. Seen him in person and he is an absolute monster.

Height has nothing to do with accuracy, simple jack.

He was in the Top 11, and finished stronger than anyone else. He was the only one to go 18-18 in the 2 minute drills. You have no idea about anything you talk about

Correct, height does not have anything to do with the literal way in which you aim the ball,I am just assuming that your deductive skills aren't that of a six year old. I am 5'11" and I can assure you I had a much more difficult time reading defenses than my counterparts that were over 6'0".

True, but you are forgetting two important points: Trent Dilfer said that Pike's mechanics had major flaws and he would struggle mightily at the next level unless a change was made. Obviously, Gus Malzahn is one of the best offensive minds in football and I'm sure he can show him a thing or two. But if you would take your Aubie glasses off for a second, what I said still holds true. Accuracy is not a trait that has proven to be one that can be fixed over the years. I put much more stock in Zeke's 58% completions over the course of a season in game action than I do in a hot streak in 7 on 7 action.

Have you ever actually stepped foot on a field with Reggie or Trai Ragland? I played with both for 2 years and I would absolutely love for you to say this to either of their faces. I think they would give you a lesson in being "soft"

Like you said, Malzahn will fix it. So no big deal. And since we're quoting Dilfer, he also said Zeke was the most coachable kid there and immediately responds well to instruction

Cam was pretty damn accurate last year after being rumored to not being able to hit the broad side of a barn.

He's soft. For his size he should run straight through blocks and kill ball carriers. But he shies from contact more than he should

Cam Newton has completed just four passes to wide receivers this preseason.That's out of 21 completions and 52 attempts. The Panthers' presumed Week 1 starter will take a 40.4 completion rate and 5.3 YPA into Thursday's preseason finale. And before you post Cam's completion percentage at Auburn, he ran a 4.5 40, which opened up the field tremendously. While Pike will be a dual threat in college, he will not be near the running threat that Cam was. Cam is showing just how accurate he is when forced to sit in the pocket when he is not the most dominant athlete on the field.

Again, anyone can say this sitting behind a keyboard in their mom's basement. I would much prefer you say it to his face than to me.

I agree with you. I saw Ragland play against Spain Park last year and he got raped by a fullback that signed with Columbia all night

Or he's showing what happens when a rookie is forced to start on a shite team with shite receivers. Most rookies struggle.
And it's amazing how people say "he can run, so that opens up everything." Then why do most running QBs still not have high completion rates? There are dozens of unsuccessful running QBs, Cam was just good at both passing and running. Combine that with Malzahn, and he couldn't be stopped. Malzahn will never have an unsuccessful QB, not even Zeke
quote:Yeah, I'll just drive up to Huntsville to tell Ragland what he's probably been told several times

Well, I suggest next time you happen to go to a Bob Jones game, approach Reggie after the game and let him know what you think of him. If he is as soft at you suggest, you will have no problems.
Observing someone as "soft" is an opinion, which you are entitled to, but since I have considerably more time around him than you I am just telling you that you are flat out wrong.
Soft -> Opinion
58% Completion
40% Completion -> Fact - Terrible accuracy

Cam was accurate enough to not lose a game as a starter in college and win a Heisman. I don't care what he does in the NFL, but of course you'll flame him for that because you have nothing to flame him for while he was in college
ETA: Oh, and just so you know, according to Rivals, Andrew Luck had a 58% completion rate his senior year of high school. I guess that means Zeke is always gonna suck
