According to 247, he has offers from us, Clemson, Miami, Florida, and FSU. And he's 6'4. Sure, I'll take him

Probably fake. Twitter commits usually are.

There's an insider article on Scout about the top 10 2013 prospects from Florida that has some great things to say about him. Basically, it says he is a lock to be a difference-making safety, but if he gets bigger he will end up at OLB. They said they could also see him develop as a WR.

What I noticed is it says he was 5'4 100lbs when he was 14. So in 2 years, he grew a foot and gained 90lbs

The kid loves FSU from what I've heard.

This kid is a beast. Here's what Scout said about him in their article about the Top 10 2013 players in Florida:
quote:
Today Kearse is a running QB and a S. Down the road there is no telling what he could play. He is lean today, but we have not seen many players that are more physical. He is a Kearse which means the weight gain tends to happen in college(Jevon and Desmond).
Right now it is hard to not see a difference making Safety down the road. Colleges covet this type of elite size, he is a rare 6'4 player that truly has the tools to be a stand-out at Safety. He certainly has the chance to develop at WR as well. If the weight comes, OLB might be his future home. In the end, it will depend on his physical development. This is going to be one of the most coveted players in the state.

I'm not from Fla, but I do keep up with recruiting. He is a good get. Good size. would play WR on offense, but likely best suited for OLB. Has good measurables. Probably a solid four star depending on how he camps and performs early next yr.

Here's a quote from Jayron

quote:
But when Kearse was asked why he committed to Auburn without having visited, he said, "I like the vibe of the coaches. I think they are a clean program, while other programs are getting in trouble, I feel like they do things right."

This is the best quote of the year!
