This is the biggest line I can ever remember us having so I would think it has to stack up with other big lines in the conference and probably the country.

LT- 338
LG- 328
C- 316
RG- 313
RT- 342

That seems rather large.

I believe they have the largest starters in the SEC (both offensive and defensive). I know for a fact they are bigger than Alabama. Bigger does not necessarily mean better but they are Bigger/

We're not lacking beef, just bodies for when someone inevitably gives a code red to take out Jones or Glenn. Harsh strategy, but really as soon as one of those guys goes down we're much worse for it

They're probably all overweight and out of shape.

I think ours is the biggest, but I'm on my phone and can't look it up.

That is a huge line but they will probably just be big pussies like their coach i'm afraid. One exception, the center for Georgia is a bad arse.

...but, that is a huge line. If these guys are good at working together and not just big we may see some great offense out of Georgia this year.

ETA: Georgia 7-5 in regular season, weak bowl and a win.

Oh of course, I wasn't trying to imply that by any means. I was strictly wondering about size here.

No, not really actually. They're all ridiculously lean compared to last year per the practice photos and footage. But, as stated, it doesn't necessarily mean they'll be better. They'll look imposing but if one goes down with an injury or they can't all get down the new OL scheme (switching from a zone blocking scheme to whatever Friend uses - can't think right now) then we'll still be in a bad way. They'll have to play smart

You're worse than RMFT, rammerjammerbammer, beatbammer, clt, and all the other UGA haters combined. It's funny how all the biggest and most outspoken Georgia flamers on here are all bama fans.

UF probably has, damn near, the smallest.

LT 6-6 292
LG 6-5 302
C 6-3 295
RG 6-3 324
RT 6-6 292

I think Boise actually has a few NFL D Line prospects this year. Or that's what a guy on ESPN said

I'll take Georgia regardless, fatties or not.

Personally, I'm more excited to see what our ridiculously big DL does with Boise's OL. Boise fans have been running off at the collective mouth about how UGA's DL may be 40 pounds heavier at Nose compared to Center, but they run a zone blocking scheme that will easily neutralize our size and our "overweight" DL (FWIW John Jenkins runs like a 4.7-4.9 40). Would love to see us bulldoze their center and guards on the first drive and shock Kellen Moore into a back pedal for a loss of 8 or 9. The gasp from the small Boise contingent would, by itself, make up for the shite performance against UCF

They're all terrified of what we could be under "the right leadership." And that's not me supposing that as their motivation for the UGA bashing. That's almost precisely what they've expressed for the past two years now

I'm being serious. With a decent season, Billy Winn is a borderline first round pick.

I was not stating that because of you. I was writing it for the soon-to-follow they are just big pussies group that would follow.

My point was that it is not just offensive line but across the board. They have a 240+ RB and 270+ FB slated to start. Their defense is massive as well.

The concern with UGA will not be stamina. This team has been worked harder than any team I know in S & C. The question will be will they have the needed mobility with the new weight. On a side note, I did an interview with David Pollack a few months ago and he said something that blew me away. He stated that only one coach on any level (HS,NCAA, and NFL) pushed him to a point where he felt like he couldn't do anymore and that was Coach T.
