You are in trouble. Nutt is in panic mode already
He's in panic-mode by recruiting an extremely talented athlete?

It's no surprise that we're thin at DB and WR, and will be relying on a lot of incoming talent at both. Brassell started at CB and WR for South Panola for a couple of seasons and did well enough at both to earn him a serious look at both positions as a freshman. Why this brings out the haters, I dunno. The guy's fast as shite and has solid hands, so why not give him a look at offense and defense?
Having that been said, Swag swaggar swaggeriffic SnoopAloop USP Swagtown USA Hotty fricking Toddy eat my dick Dan Mullen I shite all over Fayettenam and LSU and Alabama can die in a fire get the frick out swag swag swag swagaroo.

Nutt just said in his presser that he hasn't seen the kind of speed Snoop has since Wallace was here.

Incredibly well written post all around.

WMFC is the only recent one that comes to mind

I got the chance to see him play at SP, and he was the rangiest guy on the field at all times. He has an excellent stride and a nice sprinters speed. He didn't have the initial burst of quickness possessed by Kendrick Market, but I'd take Brassell over Market in a 100 meter dash 10 times out of 10.

I don't give a bakers frick if he's a freshman. If hes one of the best athletes on the team he needs to be playing.

Yea I saw Brassell twice his jr yr and twice his sr yr. Every time I saw that kid step on the field he impressed me. He is one of those players that just has that instinct for the ball. He is the type that could have massive game-changing plays on defense or offense.
I will freely admit I want to see him on D this year more than O. With Logan, Harris, Sanders, and Moncrief I feel good enough about our wideout situation to have Snoop playing more on the side of the ball where he will ultimately end up.

Completely agree. PP7 played as a frosh, guess that meant LSU didnt have any depth.

Reserve RB Nick Parker wasn't around much this summer, Nutt says. He has a kid, and he had to work.

I haven't been to practice yet but I think I'm going to go today. From reading practice reports thought, it seems like Nix is experimenting with having Swag Mathews as a hybrid LB/SS in a 4-2-5 look. This would allow Mathews, Jackson and Garbutt all on the field as safety at the same time. I'm guessing at that point Sawyer and Temple would be the starting corners and maybe Golson and Brassell pushing Temple by mid season and playing Nickle and Dime backs. That would be fine with me if was the case.

Champ only played defense and special teams his freshman year. Got in some on offense his soph. year. His junior year (1998) was when he went both ways damn near every game.

Btw, does anyone know if we've been getting outside more? I know we were in the IPF one day
