Auburn - Trent Fisher, DB

former Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher's son. He is a redshirt freshman who was an invited walk-on last year.

He's been getting a ton of praise from practice.

Blake Burgess, though he might get a scholarship before the season.

Probably not good if walk-ons are looked at to produce.

I guess your team is too good to have walk-ons participate on special teams???

Mostly special teams. I'm 100% positive every SEC team has a walkon who plays a role on special teams

People don't walk-on to our team. They run. We hustle, we grind, and them frickers better be on time.

Seth Armbrust is back from missing last year with an injury and will play on special teams. Not only did we miss DJ on kick returns last year but we also missed Seth, DJ's lead blocker.

2010: He appeared in Arkansas' season-opening 44-3 win vs. Tennessee Tech before suffering a season-ending injury.

2009: Armbrust played in all 13 games for Arkansas, mostly appearing on special teams. He led the team with two blocked punts on the season. The first came when he blocked a punt, then scooped and scored against Eastern Michigan on Homecoming. The second came late in the third quarter of a 20-17 overtime victory against East Carolina in the 2010 AutoZone Liberty Bowl. Armbrust was also the lead blocker on kickoff returns for Dennis Johnson, who set a school record with 40 returns for 1,031 yards. Armbrust returned five kicks for a total of 82 yards with a long of 21 (against Florida) and averaged 9.8 all-purpose yards a game. He collected seven total tackles on the year. Six of his tackles came on special teams, which ranked as the sixth-highest total on the squad. He was nominated for the 2009 Rudy Award, which honors student-athletes who demonstrate exemplary character, courage, contribution and commitment as members of their team on and off the field.

So, are they considered run-ons at Arkansas?
