another unsubstantiated comment from a rival fan. louisiana has a population of 4 million people, which is 66% the size of houston. LSU's success is one of the reasons why people have the idea that the state produces so many talented athletes. yes, la. produces a lot, but per capita not so many. lsu has to go out-of-state every year in order to sign a full complement of sec caliber players. however, i have found that when a person or organization enjoys success, there is no shortage of competitors stepping up and voicing excuses for said success. they are lucky, they have better talent, etc, etc, etc. you don't want to give miles any credit do you. at least be honest.

You see more and more oppposing fans admitting that Miles is a good coach, but there is still a contingent of "sidewalk fans" that skim the surface of college football and watch ESPN "not top 10's" that still think he is a bumbling idiot.

Hate to interrupt, but Louisiana produces, Per capita, more NFL players than any state in this country.
