happens every year it seems. Even after ESPN and co said last year the dawgs were looking for winning the east and began in the Top 25 which was followed by a 6-7 season it seems they are still diggin the dawgs along with many others.

#14 according to Athlon

17th according to ESPN's schlabach

I don't have insider but Feldman has been on UGA's nuts as well. Vegas moved our odds from 40-1 to 25-1. Chris Low moved us to 8-1. Those aren't the SEC odds, those are for the BCSCG.

i am surprised for one that people keep picking georgia. second, its weird how the cocks are still getting disrespected. half of these preseason polls that are picking UGA are reputable at least for preseason rankings and they are all snubbing the cocks in favor of Georgia.

it will be interesting to see because people here think an 8 win season can keep richt as the HC. i say nay nay and now that apparently UGA is getting inexplicable "hype" it only made mark's job that much harder. we never seem to ever start a season underrated

I'm willing to lose all of them to get some fresh blood in Athens.

I never pay any attention to preseason hype.

i am not saying i agree with the hype. i am just saying UGA can go 6-7 and still have to come back with a target on its back. makes richt's job that much harder.

I don't want to lose any game, but if that's what it takes to get a new coach, so be it.

I'll be at every single game regardless.

I believed in you last year at the beginning of the season. Not this year. The lack of receivers and accomplished running backs will be your downfall.

7-5 or 8-4 at best

You are the state school in a state that has great high school talent. If you ever closed your borders then you would actually begin to reach your potential and live up to the "inexplicable hype", as you put it. Oh yeah..coaching would help too.

Vegas moved our odds from 40-1 to 25-1

Seems about right.

Chris Low moved us to 8-1.

Chris Low has obviously suffered some severe head trauma recently.

And never end it there either.

as will i

trust me, i want richt gone as bad as anyone. its bad, i want to win every game next year but i am afraid he may have a fluke year and win 8 games and the east will be so shitty that will be enough to get us to ATL and we lose big to a west team. then we have a hollow SEC east title (kind of like what USCe had last year) and the big wigs will want to throw the world at st richt the pious even though he does little to improve the program.

what i want is if we are going to be bad then be bad enough that he has to leave, no gray area. or if we win make it so the entire fan base knows this program is headed the right direction and richt gets his shite strait. i just don't have any desire for the ensuing shite storm 2011 is going to be when we lose that first game or 2.

lack of WR and RB will not be our downfall. we have solid young backs and receivers. our downfall will be shittacular OL and Safeties

if UGA will once in its damn existence hire a competent damn coach (yea, i hardly give dooley credit because we won b/c of herschel but thats another argument).

if the whole hiring your buddies and not firing your buddies shite finally stops and UGA starts acting professional and realize the football program is not there just to bring a profit then i think this program could explode.

everyone knows we have the facilities, recruits, fans, $$, academics, conference, and location. Georgia could become unreal if we hire someone worth a damn and not some fricking puppet the administration thinks is a good guy and know he won't be hard to control.

I know a guy who knows a guy whose brother is friends with someone inside the program that says his mother told him yall's receivers are not playing well.

One of your backs is a crybaby. One is a stupid shite and the others have no experience. I pull for Ga when not involved with AU but I don't have high hopes this year. Hope Im wrong.

I think we have the same source...

ETA - hoping that obvious sarcasm is obvious to my UGA friends.
