Why do yall think that are small school kids get looked over so much. When most of are best players that have come out of this state were from small schools.

He seems like a nice poster especially for a state newb, but he's not helping himself.

If he isn't flaming, I'll give him a pass.
It is a very valid question though. I think most of it has to do with our traditionally shitty educational system. It's safe to assume the smaller teh school, the shittier the education.
Also, small school's talent typically gets recruited by and moved into larger school's districts.

If no one else will say it, I will.
It's "our", not "are".

yeah....we pretty much grouped them all into one.

The kid that just lead my son's team to their second straight title got no offers from the big three. Even though he was sixth in the nation in rushing.

Probably grade issues. Griffin from USP was the top RB in the state and would've been one of the top prospects if his grades werent shite. Everyone knew he wasnt going to qualify so they didnt offer him.

And then the turd ended up qualifying at LaTech...

He signed with Alcorn, are their requirments lower? Makes me worry about my kid though he has all the size and skill to play SEC ball, but playing 1a ball probaly will hurt him.

Yes the SWAC's requirements are a tad lower than the SEC's.
It wont hurt him if he doesnt mind going to Southern. Trust me, they offer everyone worth a shite as long as they can qualify. What school system is he in? Also as long as he makes it to the big schools summer workout camps, him being at a small school wont hurt him. Thats where they see who they want. Thats where the "diamonds in the ruff" are discovered.

The word is "our"! For God's sake use it

I think he's more referring to academic requirements. Alcorn has the same as OM, MSU, and USM.....unfortunately.

Mullen doesn't overlook the small schools. Look at the kid from Maben that picked off Tebow twice in 09. Banks was playing 1a ball a few months before that game.
