Also, why is it that Fairleys "off field" issues are being debated but everyone forgot that Dareus was suspended by the NCAA for improper benefits at the beginning of the year.

I find that a bit strange as well..... and people saying his production was hurt because of an injury. Sounds like he may be injury prone and have character issues.

I've got no problem if someone wants to draft Dareus in front of Fairley... he's bigger and been playing interior DL longer.... but to claim NF has off the field issues when and pass over Dareus's suspension is wild.

It's not even a competition. Fairley will be lucky to get inside the top15. Dareus might go 1 overall.

It is pretty amazing how far that suspension got swept under the rug. It's like people pick and choose who they want to criticize and break down piece by piece.

Most of the ESPN talking heads and NFL scouts have said Fairly doesn't have the upper body strength they expected or the frame to hold it. Fairleys best attributes are his quick feet and technique - his raw muscle is what everyones questioning - and then there's the character and intellectual issues. Dareus is more than 30 pounds heavier and just as fast with a frame that can handle more - a real load for any offensive lineman.
