What does U(sic)GA refer to?

When you place [sic] behind text, you are indicating that the previous thing mentioned was either spelled the way it was printed in an original document or you're pointing out something factually inaccurate/illogical. An example would be if I wrote a letter to Finebaum and said, "Awbarn cheats." If he wrote a column and included an excerpt from my letter, he would write "Awbarn [sic] cheats." to indicate that he didn't write that.
To answer your question, it is someone probably making a joke that "university" is not appropriate when talking about Georgia.

yes, Tech fans like to try and demean the University of georgia by pretending that it's a joke of a school. Similar to the way that we UGA fans refer to Tech as the North Ave Trade School...and due to the large numbers of Indian/Pakistani/Afghan students we also rip on them for having ties to terrorist organizations. Oh, and since the overwhelming majority of Tech fans are also basement dwelling mouth breathers, we make fun of them for playing a LOT of Dungeons and Dragons. Plus, since the Guy:Girl ratio is around 100:1 we also imply that they're gay or that they have no standards.

The AJC blogs (both UGA and tech) feature a daily peeing match - Dawgs fans boasting about the series and recent record and maggot fans bragging about how tough their school is academically.
No good rival forums that I've seen, techies don't show up much on the UGA Rivals or Scout sites.

its as it was said before, the arguments involve UGA fans talking about a better football program, better parties, and actually seeing women where tech has the academic argument. sadly, only school making up the margin is UGA in academics. but you can't tell that by my grammar but just know it is
