feel like it never happened? Idk if it's all because of the controversy or whatever, but just feels like it never really happened.

Oh it happened for all the "West Georgia Water Boys" but the rest of the country probably took it with a less serious attitude. They won it on the field with the help of God and family, what's more to say?

Is it just me or does LSU going undefeated when it won the NC seem like it never happened?

Nobody really takes that championship seriously other than God and AU fans. The rest of us know it is a smelly, tainted mess.

Like most championships, they are forgotten when the next story comes along...unless you're a fan of the team. Just last week UConn won the basketball tournament. He'll, even the Texas A&M women won their tourney. But soon came The Masters, MLB, etc and nobody cares. I had to think for a minute about who won the Super Bowl in February.

Thats actually a fact genius, but I think most would agree with me that I would rather have a national championship with a loss or even two losses as was the case in 2007, than one where we had to cheat and pay someone to come play who didn't give two shites about their university and left after using them to gain his fame and get to NFL.

Is it just me or did LSU seem irrelevant this past season?

And who could believe the nerve of Cam and Nick to declare for the draft as juniors? Consensus top 10 picks leaving early?? What a farce...

That's just what all the winning teams tell the hogs so they don't feel left out.

But do you think Cams gonna care when your national championship gets yanked and he's making millions? I dont think so. It also says something about the quality of your program if you have to pay top athletes to get them to go there.

Same thing that happens every year, just like someone posted above. When spring ball starts and all people are talking about is spring and the next season, the previous season is just kind of forgotten unless you were a fan of the NC of course.

Mean no offense to Auburn, just as I'm sure the OP didn't either. You guys are so touchy...

I think the normal feeling is that when Auburn goes unbeaten, somebody else is the national champion.
