I know it's just a spring game, and I know UF has 5 injured OL men, and I know 3 of their RB's didn't play this spring, and I know Andre Debose and Chris Dunkley aren't playing right now for various reasons...

But honestly, it all comes back to Brantley and how bad he sucks.

UF has no QB, and the fact that RS FR (Project) Tyler Murphy has more composure in the pocket than Brantley is RIDICULOUS.

UF won't win more than 7 games with Brantley at QB.

Probably won't win more than 8 regardless.

Spring games are meaningless.

It is kind of funny how this time last year Brantley was being talked about as one of the 2 best QBs in the SEC and a dark horse Heisman candidate though.

It's a spring game. Points should be a given.

What did we see?

Bad snaps, more Brantley sucking, OL making the defensive line looking like the best line in the NFL.

Bleh. I remember last year when we saw this and thought it meant UF's defense was amazing.

I'd be pulling for Murphy if I were a Gatah fan.

I just watched the highlights and you have a point but Florida has talent and it is just spring.

You can't overstate how much those OL injuries are affecting your Offense as a whole though. Without a competent O-line no offense can compete with an SEC defense.

I am. He actually has a pocket presence.

Even Driskel looks good in the pocket.

Brantley is just not the answer.

YOu know if you get happy feet IN A SPRING GAME, then something is wrong.

Anyway, there were 20 players out with injury, so the team as a whole ccould be really good. But the QB position is clearly a weakness.

You haven't told us the two most important things. Did Boom have his hair parted just so, and did he swear a lot?

It's the first real scrimmage under the new staff, with now Off. system that is completely different from the last one. I'd not put much stock in it good or bad at this point.

To be fair, there were a lot of injuries, I guess my biggest complaint is QB, which still stinks.

No worried to much just yet. The D is going to be solid. Brantley is NOT the answer. He just doesn't have "it".

Tyler Murphy looked good, just inexperienced. He threw the ball much better than I ever imagined.

The injuries make it hard to determine anything IMO.

Brantley is talented. Weis is a good Off. and QB coach. That said, Brantley may have taken an irreparable hit to his confidence last year. I didn't see y'all spring game, but give it some time.

Also, with the OL playing for both offenses they probably got tired real quick.

BTW, the UTw spring game was horrible. But a strong tip of the hat to your fair university for the Texas network. That is going to pay dividends.
