I think they are both really, really good jobs, but considering the success Tennessee has had with Pearl the past 5 years I have to give them the slight edge.

Trying to pick a fight?
Of course I'll say Arkansas because of a much, much, richer basketball tradition. But who knows. UT will probably shell out more money.

I hear all about this tradition all of the time from Arkansas fans, but how much did that help Pelphrey and Heath?
I think that its a TON easier to win immediately at Tennessee than at Arkansas today in 2011.

i'll be conservative and say 13 pages.
Facilities are close. Recruiting base close. Money probably close. Fan support close.
Needless to say, it's close.

Arkansas. Tennessee has NCAA sanctions coming up, a depleted roster, a depleted fan base, basically if we got Dean Smith as coach it would be 4 years before we even sniffed the tournament.

it helped them both make a combined 3 ncaa tournament appearences which is more than i expect them to make in the rest of their combined coaching careers

alternatively, come to arkansas with no sanctions, a roster full of upperclassmen, a top 5 recruiting class coming in, and one of the top juniors in the nation in-state
but i'm sure al bundy bulldog thinks it's stikll a close call.

So Tobias Harris and Scottie Hopson won't be back next year?
