Does not change the fact that even when a sizable number of NFL teams need a new quarterback they traditionally don't reach for them in the first round.
Who's saying they would be reaching? You are speculating.
I'm sure you could go through every draft and you'll find one with the highest OTs, RBs, WRs, DTs, etc.. in the first round ever. There is no regularity in the draft, each is it's own individual anomaly...

I don't do Mock Drafts because I have no idea what GMs/Scouts know about the prospects that we in the general public are oblivious to. They spend their entire year breaking down film on players an evaluating their skill sets and projecting how they will do in their systems.
Guys like Kiper and McShay don't do that. Sure they get to watch more film than the Average Joe, but they put nowhere as much time and effort into scouting and breaking down players as the scouts do.
Yet you have no problem bashing others about how wrong they are without having zero credibility to back that up.
You can't just question Kiper and McShay's accuracy then self promote your own word as the say all end all when it comes to the draft.
What you say holds no more merit, if not less, than the talking heads on ESPN.

I can turn that back around at you...

This is true, but do you honestly see any real stud quarterbacks in this draft? I mean even the most polished/proven guy (Gabbert) has some pretty questions about his capabilities.

I don't. There is a reason why I don't do mock drafts as I already said. I don't pretend to know everything about these prospects. They more or less do. I'm not by any means saying that someone should take my word over theirs, just saying that it would be foolish to invest your opinion directly in line with theirs when year and year out they make several big mistakes despite being hailed as "experts".
