This is a guy who gambled and lost a million dollars in vegas once.... the feds were all excited because they expected him to pay for it with a check (and supposedly when you write a check over X amount they can audit you without other cause)... slick son of a bitch shows up with briefcases to pay the million in cash

When they finally arrested him for good around ten years ago they inventoried all of his major possessions in his house. Which included around 400k. When asked about that cash Edwards responded that was just his "walking around money"
