Nope. Didn't get an offer from all the reports I saw at the time. He was interested but withdrew his name from consideration (but I am not at all sure that he ever was actually under serious consideration). I got the impression that when it became apparent to him that he was not going to get an offer, he publicly withdrew his name.

Saban reportedly recommended that LSU hire him when Saban left (which was a puzzlement to me at the time), but, I am pleased that LSU did not hire him. He was an improvement for Ole Miss, but he would not have been a good fit at LSU.
