It is True, you have to give Dan that. Ole Miss only signed 12 players from Mississippi.

But Whitehead and Raven were built to be CBs. It just sucks that we are going to have to convert other studs to fill that need.

You've really got to be shitting me. MSU gets more and more and more pathetic by the minute. This is proof that all they care about is Ole Miss.

Did you guys not get Veazey's tweets from the Nutt presser? He was talking about Mississippi Mamas' and their living rooms.

I almost do as well.....but then I read the bullshite that people like coonass post and they can all go to hell. They really take this shite too far.

It has to sting that, after one of the (arguably) biggest wins in the history of their program, that they completely bomb in recruiting. I mean COMPLETELY bomb.

I am not defecating in your direction. He just declared on national television that he won in-state recruiting again this year.

Just saw it on MSU's website. Its so insanely pathetic. Really ridiculously pathetic, except he said its more than the other universities in the state combined, which certainly isn't true.

He didn't go that far on ESPNU. He just said it was more than any other school in the State.

I guess he really was trying to compete with DSU and ICC.

Yes it is, I just did the math.

Southern Miss only signed 2 Mississippi HS kids
Ole Miss signed 12

12+2= 14

Mississippi State signed 15

Coach34/CoonassBulldawg must be giving Mullen some info to talk on.

We filled our needs.

The only 3 MAJOR recruits I think we missed out on were CJ Johnson, Nick Brassell (who was NEVER coming to State) and Jermaine Whitehead.

We have some solid kids who are going to contribute to our football team.

Really? I figured that Southern would at least get 4 or 5 from MS. Sorry, apparently I was wrong, but that still doesn't make it any less pathetic.

Considering State and Ole Miss combined for 22 of the top 25 recruits in Mississippi (per Rivals) there wasn't many left for the Mustard Buzzards.

Nutt said during the press conference he would have no problem letting him play nickel while he played WR also.

We signed 1 LB, and have 2 who redshirted, as well as 2 other freshmen who played last year. We also have 3 back ups who will be JRs and SRs

LB will be our weakest spot, but with the solid DL we have we will be ok.

We addressed our Offensive Line, QB (with Relf being a SR), RB with Ballard and Elliot both being SRs, and DE.
