Barron Dixon leaving had to do with more about playing time. We already have majority of Dline back with several redshirts ready, and 2 possible good DE commits tomorrow.

Saddest part is Michigan is out recruiting them now
Michigan has a 100,000 seat stadium, better facilities, and are the all time winningest team in the history of college football, and have won numerous national championships.
The should be out recruiting us.

Joel, STate was winning with the 2 & 3 stars. Go back and find how many impact 4 stars we had this past season.

I'll take 9 wins, in Mullen's 2nd season.

Nah, as long as your coach is your coach, we State fans feel pretty damn good about the situation.

I just don't understand how such a phenomenal season could not provide a spark in recruiting for Mullen.
I have always heard that he was not a good recruiter at UF, but I do not know that for sure, but this seems to be an indicator.
Not sour grapes, as I did like his coaching ability which he has proven himself to be a great coach at MSU as well and he seems to have brought a lot of energy to the University.
I just don't get it.

yeah it's strange but this is Miss State we're talking about & only 1 successful season. I think he's a determined coach and will get better in the crootin area. Atleast we hope. Maybe after another 8 plus win season, we can Sell our program more.

Morrow and Arrington are 4-stars on Scout, PJ is a 4-star on Rivals.

That's right. We got 3----4 stars

I find it odd that everyone talks about how Ms. State didn't beat anyone yet with the same breath will say how the competition in the SEC is far superior than anywhere else. Can't have it both ways.

How do you explain us losing to shitty teams when Croom was our HC and had 2 and 3 stars.
Posted on 2/2/11 at 10:03 am to Al Bundy Bulldog
Because Mullens can beat shitty teams with 2 and 3 star players and Croom couldn't?
