He could definitely be better than this guy. I've heard that he wasnt transitioning very well.

I thought LP was getting a look at DT not DE, but I could be wrong. I think LPs future, if he has one, is on the defensive side of the ball. That big and that athletic, seems like he should be able to wreak havoc on the d-line.

As for Dyer, he is a very good back and I think his total yards number will be higher next year because he will get more carries, but his YPC will be down with a new line and no Cam.

Joel and the coaches mutually decided that it was best if he took a redshirt year to get accustomed to college. Joel didn't even get on campus in time to make most of the fall practices. The coaches wanted him to have as much time off as possible.

That being said, he had some minor injuries but to my knowledge he's 100% right now. It's also my understanding that he had a great semester academically.
