If you want a cool place for lunch...I highly suggest Wallace Station Deli....outside Versailles and Midway.

I can't recall the name, but there was a great little sandwich shop/lunch place halfway between lexington and midway (i think). Very good southern lunch food.

I agree.
Or if you're in the mood for pizza and good beer, Pazzo's is the way to go. Depends on what you're in the mood for.
Hugh Jass can't be beat for the price.

Harry's aka Malone's in Lansdowne center I think zip code is 40517...great little burgers and bar and a nice view on friday and saturday nights ...wallace station is good homemade sandwiches and stuff but the bread slices are so damn thick you have to be "alligatoresque" in chewing. Also Hacienda (Mexican) off Harrodsburg road is good and very reasonable.

Drakes in Lansdowne is good too. They're all owned by the same company. You can get table taps at Drakes.
