Honest Question about Chizik

Other than tossing Cam the ball, what made him the runner up for the AP coach of the year? Cam was a one man show so I just don't see what he did that made Chizik so great.

Cam could probably make a lot of people runner up for Coach of the Year.

Last year it was Chizik is nothing without Gus. Now this year it is Gus is nothing without Newton and Chizik is nothing without Newton. Stupid post is stupid.

It really isn't look at Florida without Tebow. The Gators were terrible this year but have year after year of top 5 recruiting classes. Meyer doesn't look so good now.

when newton assembles the staff comes up with game plans and does press conferences call me. he is a great player but to say he is the only reason is stupid. that is as ignorant as saying auburn's offense is only good due to newton.

At the moment I give Chizik all the credit in the world for Auburn being where they are. Whether or not Cam and half the team were bought- Chizik has somehow kept them focused. And if they cheated it obviously all goes out the window- unless you can somehow qualify selecting the best sleazebag assistant's as great HCing. On the other hand you are batshit crazy if think AU gets to where they are without Cam. Thats like saying you don't need wheels to make a bicycle.
