Just got done rewatching one of the episodes, and it made me wonder. Is there a player from your SEC school that you feel should have been included, but wasn't?

My nomination from Bama would be Dwight Stephenson. If Mike Webster made it as a C, the Dwight should've, too. Not taking anything away from Webster (he was great), but DS was every bit as good. I know the argument is that his career wasn't long enough. But, there was a time he was considered the best to have played the position

I love that they had Lance Alworth so high, but I still feel like Steve Atwater should have been on that list.

Mississippi has 4 players on the list and 2 in the top ten including the number 1 jerry rice. Can't argue that there's not talent in ms but none of those players were ever offered by Ole miss or state

Bama had 5:
Joe Willie
Ozzie Newsome
John Hannah
Don Hutson
Bart Starr

I would've replaced Newsome with Dwight. I just thought he was superior at C to what Ozzie was at TE.

Ken Stabler should be on that list, and in the HOF.

There was no better QB in the '70's, especially running the two minute offense. NFL MVP, Super Bowl winner. I guess he's penalized for losing to the great Steeler teams, as well as the cocaine incident with the reporter in Gulf Shores.

I don't know, Oz performed at a consistent level for his entire career, what he did @ TE 1981-85 was pure dominance for a TE back then.

It a same Dwight's career ended the way it did, especially since it was Marty Lyons who accidently injured him.

One of my son's high school teammate's dad was a Fin during the 80s. He told me that the film sessions watching Dwight were awesome.

One UT player I was a little surprised didn't make it was Doug Atkins. You always hear the old guys from the 50s & 60s talk about how great he was.

Yah, Atkins is in the NFL HOF and was in the top ten of the NFL networks top ten pass rushers of all time.

I imagine if they did a 150 he'd be in it.

Jevan Snead!

Oh, wait you meant players who didn't make it to the top 100, not players who didn't make it to the NFL.

+1 It's a shame that some have made it before the Snake.

Tennessee has Reggie White, Nuff said. Everyone else takes a back seat.

That list has so many mistakes. I could go on and on and on about how flawed it is.

? So...because Bama had Namath, that means Starr shouldn't have made it? What's your point?

Atkins shoulda been in.

Was Bo Jackson on the list? If not, he should've been. Even with a shortened career, he was tops in his position. Look at his yds. per carry; 5.4 for the 4 years he played.

My biggest problems...

Too many offensive skill players.

Only 34 defensive players on the whole list.

WAY too many qbs.

Deion at 34.

No Polamalu.

Moss at 84.

Munoz at 12. He should be higher. Best linemen ever.

I would hope not. Marcus Allen made it though, and rightfully so.
