Doubtful.. Spurrier will be competing for the east again.

That leaves TCU. They're going into a BCS conference with a successful coach, why would it open up?

If Nutt has another crappy year, Ole Miss could open up. Smart may turn GA down. KY, with a very bad year, could open up. Spurrier could retire. Patterson could be hired away from TCU. There is no way to predict what jobs will open up with the coaching carousel, but there are surely better jobs than Vandy that Malzahn will be a candidate for.

I think this is an insinuation that another school might pick up Patterson...

The SEC commisioner needs to get behind Vandy and make them spend some of that SEC money on a good coach (whether Malzahn or not) and upgrade the facilities (if needed?). It would be nice to have all 12 teams in the SEC trying to win instead of just 11.......
