Was Gus Malzahn really that good at Auburn?

I don't know how long he has been there, but without Cam Newton isn't he just a mediocre offensive coordinator?

cam wouldn't have looked as good in a lot of offenses. That said malzahn looks nowhere near as good without cam.

Does your question warrant a better answer?

Is it really that stupid? Last year (if he was there) did Auburn not suck balls?

We had the fifteenth best offense in the nation last year. A year after coming off like the 115th best offense in the nation.

Auburn's offensive rankings from 2007-2009

2007 with Al Borges as OC- #97 total offense, #84 scoring offense

2008 with Tony Franklin as OC- #104 total offense, #111 scoring offense

2009 with Gus Malzahn as OC- #16 total offense, #17 scoring offense

The answer to that question is 100% yes.
