this... somehow i get a small camaraderie when auburn fans agree with me on this. i want to promote the hate. i want to promote the vitriol. it makes you FEEL the game when the IB is played. it really makes an experience that can't be put into words when you win OR lose.

I disagree completely, it only makes us look better when we beat Alabama if they are a good program as well.

The ONLY time it is acceptable to pull for Bama is when Auburn needs them to beat somebody (typically LSU) in order for Auburn to have a chance at the SECCG.

That's it.

I hate Texas and I still rooted for them in the NCG even though it would have been good for the SEC to win another title - money, prestige, etc.

It's like when Hitler invaded France. As much as you hate the French, you can't watch Hitler celebrate a victory.
