AJ Green sells his jersey, which one can cynically point out how SEC got no money off of deal, sits 4 games. This thug is shopped for $200k, which no one disputes, and sits for 12 hours 4 days before the game. You can't make this shot up. Hypocrisy.
I wonder if AJ Green's dad had sold his jersey without his knowledge, if he would have been punished. Better yet, I wonder if AJ Green's dad had put his jersey on ebay but never got a bid, if AJ Green would have gotten in trouble. If you don't like the ruling fine, but let's not compare dis-similar situations and pretend they are the same. One received extra benefits (minor infraction IMO fwiw), the other did not (as far as we know right now).

I agree that this is all a joke

This kind of changes the subject but what about Bruce Pearl at Tenn. Didnt he get caught redhanded cheating? And he is only suspended for half a conf season..... I cant beleive he has a job. What kind of parent sends their kid to play for that guy.

Tell ya what...

Go get caught soliciting an undercover officer for sex...watch as you get arrested before the officer ever says "that sounds great...I agree".

...when you get before the judge give that "Their was never an agreement" defense a whirl. See how that works for ya.

Everywhere else that you can find ANYTHING that would even come close to having correlation with this anywhere...the act of ASKING for something illegal implies agreement on your part. The lack of a willing partner is never a defense.

It's a DUMB standard and Slive knows it.
