Not only is the final game all NWA, but the four 7A semifinalists were all NWA.
There are six classes for football; Class A is the tiny basketball-only schools. The most screwed up part is that 7A and 6A are only 16 schools each. But two 6A teams play in a 7A conference and two 7A teams play in a 6A conference. Confused? So am I.

Back in my day, the basketball only schools were class B and the almighty Southside Rebels coached by Barry Lunney were in the top class, 5A.
