thats a canned, text book response by any coach who is leaving.

I hope he doesn't leave - its nice to see MSU on the upswing.

I know. I have enjoyed seeing that program getting built up over the last couple of years, and I'm happy for the State fans. I really hope he stays.

If he does go, I am 100% for hiring Gul Malzahan and paying good money to get him.

What I read from that tweet was, "I'm not saying no, so I'm gonna go to Miami and see what they have to offer."

He'll interview. Doesn't mean he's going.

Sounds like Mullen knows the NCAA is coming after they get finished with the boogs.

Mullen will prove to be an infinitely better HC than Malzahn.

What makes you say that? Both have had great success as OC's in the SEC.

I really like Malzahn a lot.

Malzahn may be good coordinator, but that doesn't always translate over to a good head coach. We'll find out eventually.

I read that as, "I'm not saying shite till I know my agent has worked out the best deal possible for me whether it be with State or Miami."

Why? Because he could make close to 3 million, live on South Beach, have one of the top recruiting bases in the country, and only have to win a couple of tough conference games per season to be in the BCS?

That means the NCAA is coming? Idiot

Probably is, but for once I would love to see a head coach in a similar situation stay and build a program and retire there.
