Hard to beat a team twice in one year, just saying. But yea, it could get ugly if we don't show up on D.

No love for my other thread, huh?

4 of 5 teams who see an opponent again in the seccg, the winner of the first matchup has won again. Just sayin.

I'm pulling against Auburn and I am not ashamed to admit it. Under any other scenario, I would pull for the SEC, but not this time.

If Auburn wins (which I am sure they will) and the title is vacated (which also appears very likely) the SEC will be labeled as cheats. All previous champs in this run (LSU, UF and Bama) will then be questioned by individuals across the nation (birds of a feather flock together). Obviously, I don't think UF, LSU or Bama cheated their way to victory, but that doesn't mean a ficticious asterisk will not be placed beside all SEC teams as a result of this fiasco.

Note, I am not saying that Auburn paid Cam or that they cheated in any way. However, the way the law reads, if a player (or their representative) ask for benefits to sign, that player is ineligible. I think there is little doubt this took place and that Cam will eventually be ruled ineligible and the title vacated.

Auburns run to a national title is bad for the SEC. There is no other way around that simple fact. It will bring more scrutiny on the conference by the media, the NCAA and your average college football fan. The Pac10 has avoided this label simply because USC was in a class of their own during their run. You have 4 or 5 programs in the SEC that could legitimately win a national title, not so in the Pac10.
