MSU fans without cowbells are much more tolerable.

They really aren't that loud with out those bells. They are pretty obnoxious after the game though.

maroon/white chants were heard on tv and were very prevalent
the cheers from state fans were louder than the cheers of ole miss fans on tv
from my own experience being at the game we were much louder than yalls sorry as fan base.

I was at the game and also watched on TV. Our fans were very loud. Maroon white chants were just as loud as the hulkster led hotty toddy

No but the band played more than Alabama's Million Dollar Band ever thought about playing. I married into an Ole Miss family so I'm not a fan by choice. However, I do go to the games frequently and that was by far the most annoying band that has played there in the last two seasons. It's in poor taste when someone is receiving an honor and you can't hear what that honor is because the visiting band is playing "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow".

It's funny hearing an ole miss fan talk about our fans not being loud. I went to the game with an ole miss fan whose brother goes to state. We sat down and the stadium was dead right before the game. He looked at me and said, "yeah it's kinda dead right now, Ole miss fans don't really get that excited like they do before a game in Starkville.
Yeah there were a lot of annoying cheers after the game. I wasn't one of them and no one I was with was. Why wouldn't our fans be happy about an SEC win on the road and rub it in a little. That's what fans do. Ole Miss fans hear that and stick their nose in the air and think, "listen to those idiots celebrating. what kind of fanbase does that?"
