Dude.

Probably should have done that to their face on Friday

I think the point he was trying to make was that he was too drunk to think clearly on Friday. Now that he can, he's embarrassed about the way he acted and is trying to make amends in the most visible way he can think of.

Do you really need to throw it up in his face?

Typically no. I have a serious pep peeve for ppl who blame alcohol for their behavior. I almost left the AU heavy viewing party Friday because my buddy(AU grad) would not shut the frick up. Complained the whole first half and then talked shite the whole second half.

I dont talk to strangers M-F so I cant see a reason to do so on Saturdays...but that is just me.

He didnt do anything to me so he is not apologizing to me...dont apologize, just dont do it next time.

Thank you cyde for the defense.

"I shook plenty of au fans hands after the game and told them good game, and then got shitfaced at the booth with a bunch of au fans. It was a fun night."

Ironically, I did the same once I actually left the stadium. Shook a young Auburn fan's hand and begrudgingly said congrats. I also ran into a couple of die hard Auburn friends that night and we went out to eat and have a couple of beers at a local Mexican restaurant. Once I left the frenzy of the stadium my demeanor immediately changed for the better which is probably typical of most fans in that situation. I will say that I found Auburn fans to be much more gracious and low key after the game than they have been after past Iron Bowl wins in Tuscaloosa. Probably still a little stunned at how the game unfolded.
