Ok someone from Ole Miss help me explain this to my son

My son is asking me Ole Miss the Black Bears or the Rebels? He is saying Black Bears which I know is now correct, but doesn't understand the Rebels in the end zone on the field. Also, on the cheerleaders uniforms etc at LSU game last week it said Rebels, and he doesn't ever remember seeing a bear mascot anywhere? So the answer is?

The uniforms will say Black Bears next year and they will be cheering next to a Bear mascot.

Just tell him to look at this, put some Rum in his milk hot tottie ba-ba and he'll be out in about 10 minutes droolin' on his pillow.

Tell him that they are officially the black bears and that next year we will see more of the bear. They will do away with the white suprememcist by next year but it will be gradual.

teach your son not to shoot a captive bear, then you will have really shown him the spirit of the ole miss mascot selection.
