Why? It makes you more money to go. And your players get an extra month of practice. I don't see anything embarrassing about this at all.

I understand, which is why I said they wont turn it down. But when you should be playing for national championships, making a bowl game at 5-7 is pretty embarassing to me.

This is the only incentive...I believe I read where last year the only ones that practiced for the Outback Bowl were the players that would be returning this year...and then about 7 days before the game all of the seniors came into the mix to prepare...

Maybe ole miss fans should set higher standards than making a bowl game with a losing record.
