Oh, go frick yourself. He has built great programs every stop he has been to. When Ludwig and Derenbecker are the most highly touted players in your state your first two years, you know there is a huge fricking problem.
Nonetheless, what happened tonight should come with no excuse. He will only have one more season to rite the ship if this continues.

Meh, its early, LSU could turn it around. And its not like anyone was really banking on making the tournament this year right?

TJ is a great coach. You don't go to three sweet sixteens with three different teams unless you can coach.

No. We want the NIT. I am off the ship if we do not make teh Big Dance next season. We have one senior on the roster, and we have a 5* PF joining the party.

Disagree. He's already won an SEC title. Last year was as expected with the huge hole in recruiting that Brady left. Top 15 recruiting class this year and they'll take their lumps while learning the ropes. A 5* post-player and the huge transfer come in along with a nice two-guard next year. TJ will be in BR for years and will win more SEC titles along the way. Several people on the Tiger rant warned earlier today that Nicholls was a solid team. Bose is a future pro playing for them and the kids just couldn't shoot tonight. They'll bounce back and win on Thursday.

TJ isn't recruiting at a high enough level to build LSU back instantly.
It will take time. Definitely not this year, probably not next year. But they'll be a competitive team in the SEC west by 2012 - 13.
