Alabama said media relations member Jeff Purinton said the school would not comment.

"Any questions regarding NCAA activities should be directed to the NCAA,'' he said in an email to The Birmingham News.

Gumps must be guilty of something. Only guilty parties give no comment, right?

Germans...

And no, Bama is not in trouble over this...and nothing has implicated Alabama in any way...yet.

AU is definitely in trouble and Jody Wright obviously, while he was at MSU, had information regarding Cecil demanding money for his son to play at MSU.

Or it could be because there is an FBI investigation going on right alongside the NCAA one?

I know what you're trying to do MsGarrison so just stop. Coaches and other personnel move between jobs all the time. He was at Jacksonville State University three or four years ago before he took the job at Mississippi State.

bahaha why should Alabama have to comment? what could they possibly say?
He was a coach at MSU then.. and his interview with the NCAA is entirely unrelated to him now being a GA at Alabama.
