At least he doesn't think we will never win anything again like some of you effers here.

Coaches talk all the time about pride in a football program.
You see it on the practice field, see it in the weight room and see it when it’s time to go win a big game.

AP Photo/Stephen MortonChas Henry and the Florida Gators can still make it to the SEC title game.
Most of all, though, you see it when the hype has worn off, when most of your fans have given up on you and when you’re playing just to keep your head above water.
That’s what true pride is all about.
It’s that kind of pride that was on full display last Saturday in Jacksonville when Florida found a way to end its three-game losing streak and beat Georgia 34-31 in overtime, a win that kept alive the Gators’ Eastern Division championship hopes.
Urban Meyer has certainly had better teams at Florida. He’s had more experienced teams, and he’s had more talented teams.
But the elite programs have a way of making a stand when they absolutely need one, and when conventional wisdom says they’re closer to being an average team than a great team.
I’d say that’s exactly what Urban Meyer was thinking Saturday night when he called the win against Georgia the “biggest win we’ve had.”
Bigger than the two BCS national championship wins? Bigger than the two SEC championship wins? Bigger than all those wins against Florida State?
Yep, absolutely.
“We got our brains kicked in the last three weeks, and we’ve got to get the ship righted,” Meyer said after the Gators survived in overtime. “We needed that. My family needed that. Everybody needed that. A bunch of families in there needed that.”
And at the very top of the list, the Florida program needed that.
Lose that game, and the Gators could have very easily been looking at a 6-6 season.
This is not a 6-6 kind of program, even with as many younger players as Florida is playing this season.
Meyer expounded Monday at his press conference on why he called it his biggest win at Florida.
“It’s the big picture. That’s why,” said Meyer, who’s still only lost one time to the Gators’ biggest rivals – Florida State, Georgia, Miami and Tennessee.
“It was the most important for our players, the staff, the karma, eating food that tastes good again. We had a victory meal (Sunday night). My god, I have no idea what it was, but it was unbelievable. That's why. It was a much-needed victory ... and the way they did it. When Will Hill intercepted that ball and went 80-something yards, the sideline ... there were 70 people down in the end zone. We needed that.”
And just like that, this is a program that has new life.
Let’s face it. The Gators have recruited well enough the past few years that they were never going to be down for very long.
But with a trip to Vanderbilt this week and the showdown with South Carolina looming on Nov. 13 in the Swamp, Florida has a chance to pull this season out of the flames.
For everything that’s gone wrong – the offensive woes, the questions about the direction of the offense, the growing pains among all the younger players and the Chris Rainey arrest – this is a program that can still play in its third straight SEC championship game by winning its next two games.
Even in a "down" year, the Gators’ pride has shown through.

Georgia was the perfect chicken soup for the Gator soul, per usual.

Florida will go on the beat SC in the swamp and win the SEC East.
I think AU will win the West.
Looks like Herbie's prediction may actually come true. AU vs UF in the SECCG. It will not be easy for AU to get up for the SECCG a week after an epic IB.
That is getting way ahead of things, but I think the most likely scenario at this point is AU/UF in the SECCG.

Beating a 4-5 team in overtime is his biggest win in 6 years? Ok.

It was one of the biggest for sure. We needed that to stop the three game slide in a big way. OK.

Hardly since Florida has 2 NC's during that period but it probably was their biggest win so far this season until they play SC in two weeks. It's called hyperbole and Myer has obviously mastered it. It was another SEC classic. Myer took good advantage of the extra week to add innovation to his offense and his defense won the game by creating and taking advantage of opportunities for TO's when they came their way. Our defense did not capitalize on the same opportunities.

Instead of Georgia making alot of mistakes?

The mistakes were caused by our defense.
The first pick was all Janoris. The last pick was caused by the pressure- so was Murray's fumble. I can't remember the second pick. Those were defensive plays, no gimmies.
