Auburn did everything in the world to stop Ingram from getting the Heisman and look how that turned out. Even if we stop Cam, it's his trophy this year.

He deserves the Heisman. But he gets slowed enough to get beat at BDS.

They run him so much and depend on him so much God help them if he gets nicked.

Good post. Igram only got like 35 yards on Auburn last year and still won it. BSU QB may slip in though. It'll be close.

I think AU's offense does well against Alabama. Malzahn proved last year he could put some points on a better Alabama defense and worse Auburn Offense last year. It'll be the best Iron Bowl in a very long time.

Saban will make him throw! Hightower and #35 will pound him and he will leave the game early.

I'm convinced the only way he gets stopped is when he hurts himself bc he has so much want

I don't fear a Newton throwing from the pocket.

First, IF Saban "makes him throw" then you force us to take advantage of you weakness. Cam is good at throwing. If you've watched his games this year, he can put it on the spot if needed. Just because he is a running qb, doesn't mean he can't throw. You'll see..

Second, it will be interesting to see how Saban "makes him throw".

If any one can make him throw it is Saban,,essentially with 2 weeks to prepare since we have a scrimmage with Ga State.

he's actually very good throwing....and the way our offense sets up, all we need is one drive of throwing the ball and Saban will panic and eliminate the pass thus opening the run lanes.

In all seriousness, this offense is like Nebraska 95, where we just need a pass completion from time to time and the rest falls into place.

You want to beat us, you better do it on special teams, in the air and pray for turnovers.

Otherwise, our D is just good enough to clamp down on that running game of bammers and seal the victory.

Actually, it all comes down to the SEC doesn't it? Who do they want to win the iron bowl.......that's the real question.

Nick will not PANIC!!! Pressure of being 11 and 0 will get Auburn!

The thing is Alabama CAN throw the ball. And throw it pretty well too.

So just gang up on the line and watch Julio torch your secondary over the top.

yeah, because we've never gone undefeated or anything.....the pressure will just be too much.....we also don't have a coach who has been DC on two straight unbeaten teams so he also doesn't know how to prepare them.

Keep thinking that......

I don't want to see Fignewton hurt because then there won't be any excuses when they get destroyed by Bama.
.

..but of course with awburn there's ALWAYS excuses

We have to beat Ole Miss and georgia first. One game at a time. I was at the game and I think that Cam sometimes makes the wrong reads. He sometimes throws it to a covered receiver and he has someone else wide open. He needs to look for Lutz more on passing routes. He is still learning.
