Best way to get to Auburn from Oxford...?

I am headed that way tomorrow. What is the best/fastest route? The internet doesn't always give the fastest...


(yes I will check your answers on google maps so I don't end up in Bumfrick, Georgia)

I say take US 78 to Birmingham and then get on I65 and then whatever exit to Auburn around Montgomery I'm guessing.

431 South to Tiger corner store(5 miles South of Lafayette(highway 147)head Southwest,Hits 280, take left, then right on College(1/4 mile)

Leave Oxford at 1-2 pm, preferably on a Friday afternoon. This should you in bham just at the ideal time to hit 280, then its smooth sailing straight into Auburn.























Eta: this is a joke. Doing that would put you throughso much mind numbing traffic you would want to gouge out your eyeballs
