Okay, he is supposedly this "Godly man", then why does he need to carry a gun with him in Ft. Walton? And if he is about doing "the right thing", then why did he not get the gun registered? It seems like a very easy thing to do, especially if you know the repercussions of getting caught with it not being registered. What would lead me to believe that he was carrying the gun around with him for legit reasons?

Virginia Tech seemed like a pretty safe place where you wouldn't have to worry about crazy people carrying guns...
